Human acts proceeding from law, he feels confidence and power as he knows that the step he makes is right, reasonable and justified. The main thing is that he is under the protection of the law.
From this point, laws play an important role in social life and they should be improved according to time requirements. Establishment of the Research Institute of Legal Policy under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of April 2018 serves to this end.
This was mentioned at the press conference in Tashkent named “Legal Policy – The Most Important Direction of Government Policy”. Director of the Research Institute of Legal Policy Hojimurod Isokov and others stated that the new institute will carry out a single state-run legal policy and act to strengthen the rule of law. As far as, the Institute is a leading state research institute of the Republic in the field of organizing and conducting research on raising the legal culture and legal awareness in society.
At the presentation of the institute was mentioned that the new institution would carry out research on developing national legislation and its branches. Acts on creating scientific concepts that are in harmony with the development of society, innovative methods of increasing the legal awareness and legal culture of the population.
In the judicial and legal sphere analyses application of legislation and works out proposals on its development. Learns the legal problems of increasing the effectiveness of public administration. Determines the directions of development of legal regulation of social and economic relations. Cooperates with leading foreign research institutions. In carrying out his responsibilities the research institute has the authority to request orders and other documents, statistical information, and information about law enforcement practice from the state and economic management, courts, the law enforcement authorities, state khokimiyats, educational, scientific and information-analytical agencies.
In its activity, the Institute relies on a comparative analysis of the national and foreign law, the results of the study of law enforcement practices by public authorities, scientific advice of a jurist, an economist, political expert, as well as suggestions and recommendations made by citizens and entrepreneurs.
