From 14 to 25 September 2020, a series of webinars, “Rule of Law of Eurasia” as part of the “One Belt – One Road” initiative was organized by the Chinese Law Society in cooperation with the Chinese Legal Exchange Center, Shanghai Law Society, Shanghai Political Science, and Law University, the Center for International Legal Education and Cooperation for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
More than 200 participants from China, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and other countries – heads and teachers of leading universities, lawyers, representatives of embassies of SCO countries, and professional legal communities took part in the event.
Over the two weeks, a series of presentations on China’s civil, commercial, investment, corporate, criminal, and administrative rights were heard.
As part of the webinar, a symposium on “Legal risks in international investment and trade and their solutions” was organized. The event was held under the motto “Legal support of trade and economic cooperation under the initiative” One belt – one road”.
At the symposium, Azam Madaminov, Director of the Research Institute of Legal Policy under the Ministry of Justice, made a speech on “Coordination of trade and economic legislation of countries located along one belt – one road.” – one road.”
